Can be used in almost all areas of timber construction
Similar to a conventional suspension connector, this node connection is completely prefabricated and can therefore be installed quickly. The advantage is that the Atlas timber connector can be used in almost all areas of timber construction regardless of the fibre direction of the timber and therefore replaces a large number of other timber connectors. The unique feature is that the Atlas timber connector is fixed from above with a screw, thus bracing the components against each other. For easy assembly, the timber connector consists of two identical elements that can be pushed into each other smoothly and without forcing.
The knot connection is created by the fixing screw used, which holds both parts of the Atlas timber connector together and prevents the connector from coming loose unintentionally. This means that the connection can withstand high static forces in four directions. The Atlas timber connector can be installed visibly (for shadow groove connections) and invisibly (milled in).
The system screws and the corresponding DuoBit are included in the scope of delivery for trouble-free installation.
