Mounting plate (2) should be screwed underneath the door frame at 525 mm measured from centre of hinge plate to centre of pivot. There should be a distance of 2 - 3 mm between the closed door and mounting plate. Detailed instructions are included with every unit. This door brake should not be used as a limit stop.
