PFERD carbide copy burrs are ideal for leveling out raised areas such as weld seams. Thanks to the non-toothed area, the weld seam can be adjusted to the level of the surrounding surface without damaging it. Copy burrs are used especially for repairs to cutting and punching knives in tool and mold making. Carbide copy burrs with MICRO toothing were specially developed for fine machining and produce a high surface quality. Almost all materials up to a hardness of 68 HRC can be machined. Blunt cone-shaped burr tapered towards the shaft. WKN angle burrs are particularly suitable for machining punching tools that are used for machining aluminum.
- For precise contour guidance, copy milling cutters with guide aids can be used.
- Observe the speed recommendations.
- For economical use of milling cutters, work in the upper speed/cutting speed range. Use milling cutters with a shaft diameter of 6 mm on drives with a power of 300 watts or more.
