Wheels KL-0100-Series Torque-Limiting Sockets KL-0100-Serie These AccuTorq Torque-Limiting Sockets are designed for use with an impact wrench. They work by absorbing excess torque generated by the impact wrench between the 1/2“ drive and the hexagon end into the torsion bar, once the correct torque has been reached. The sockets were calibrated at the time of manufacture. Thus, there is no need for additional adjustments. Thanks to the high quality of the tools, only worn impact wrench anvils or wheel bolts may cause premature wear and tear resulting in a limited lifetime of the sockets. The AccuTorq Torque-Limiting Sockets ensure that no torque greater than the torque value indicated on the sockets will be transmitted. Therefore, the only accuracy test that needs to be performed is to check that there is enough force available to allow the socket to achieve the correct value for the respective application. 3 Special Features: • The sockets combine impact-wrench speed with torque-wrench accuracy. • Fit all 1/2“ impact wrenches with min. 220 Nm. (1“ impact wrenches for HGV with min. 1,400Nm). • No need for recalibration. • For quick reference, colour-coded torque-limiting sockets for passenger car applications.
