A pressure drop during machining causes a reduction in the clamping force. The „RÖHM control system“ is used to control the pressure of the closed pneumatic chamber. If the pressure falls below a defined minimum level, a spring-loaded pin attached to the rear side of the chuck moves out to the rear. If the extended pin moves through the magnetic field of the probe, an electrical pulse is triggered, which can be used to shut the machine down.
