CeiLinG fanS dV due to natural/forced convection, warm air rises to the upper area of a room or a hall, due to its lower density. a warm upper area of a room does not help the persons in the room who normally stay on the floor. in order to balance this effect in daily life, the set room temperature is mostly raised until people feel a comfortable temperature in the central areas of the room. This leads to an unnecessarily high fuel consumption. in order to work against this problem, the use of ceiling fans ensures an all-over distribution of temperature in the room/hall, vertically and horizontally. This helps to save fuel and to raise comfort. Safety Ceiling fans have to be placed so that there is a minimum distance of 2,5 m between the floor and the bottom edge of the fan blades.
