With the KL-0104-21.. spreader tool, the clamping bore can be enlarged exactly to the required size. Then, by pre-compressing the spring in situ on the vehicle with the aid of the KL-0029-10 coil spring pre-compressor, the strut can easily be removed without the need for releasing the control arm/drive shaft, upper ball joint or track rod joint. Due to the unique design of the tool, the shape of the spring is irrelevant. The kit is suitable for a wide range of applications, thanks to the interchangeable support plates and the compact design of the pre-compressor comfortably fitting the strut mount area.
