Set also includes tools for recutting, cleaning and the repair of glow plug retaining threads as well as for the cleaning of glow plug bores. First, the glow plug top part is drilled out or drilled up by means of the pilot drill. Next, the original thread is recut and cleaned using the special screw tap. If glow plug retaining threads are damaged, these can be drilled up to M12x1 with the aid of the special oversize screw tap. The centring/guide sleeves included in this tool set, ensure accurate and correct centring and guidance as well as the exact drilling depth whilst drilling out and during the thread repair. The remaining glow plug body is then extracted with the puller.
