The results are “Made in Germany” quality products. Mennekes PowerTOP® Xtra 63 A and 125 A The integrated opening aid on the connector lid makes it easier to open the flap lid and keep it in place. The immediately adjacent screw connection on the plug or connector hood means that the surface is easy to clean. The seals in the connector lid and the front of the plug are moulded on and therefore undetachable. The plug and connector housings are ergonomic in shape, and are characterised by an excellent grip even in moisture, snow and dirt thanks to the practical rubberised finish on the grip surfaces. The front part and the hood can be quickly and securely locked via a screw cap. Unlocking can only be performed using a tool, in line with the regulations. The plugs provide improved corrosion protection in aggressive environments and in high humidities thanks to their nickel-plated contacts. And the high-heat-resistant contact carrier also ensures extra safety. With their x-shaped slot pattern and grooves in the inner walls, the innovative X-CONTACT® sleeves provide a particularly secure contact closure while simultaneously reducing the plug-in and removal forces by up to 50%. There are no signs of wear even with frequent plugging in and removing under load, and the sleeve material remains permanently fatigue-free even with rough handling.
