Stumpf Metall standards FIRE TESTED self-extinguishing © ProPads for the insertion flaps In containers with this logo, the most stressed component, the insertion flap, is given special protection: Furnished with a silvercoloured special coating, this insertion flap is extremely impervious. In addition, different coloured ProPads© (=protect-pads) are enclosed with these containers. These are selfadhesive and the user decides on which identification paint the insertion flap should be painted with. ProPads© are abrasion and scratch resistant, UV resistant, colour-fast, washable and extremely long-lasting. ProPads© can also be covered with pads of another colour at any time. Colour coding system Nearly all of the sorting systems make use of the colour coding system. The most commonly used colour codes during waste separation anthracite, blue, yellow, red, green and brown are repeated time and again in the individual product lines. The user can thus custom-assemble a container system tailored to their individual needs. Products with this logo are classified according to DIN 4102 or DIN EN 13501-1 as ‘non-combustible’ and thus correspond to the classification A1 - non-combustible materials (fire behaviour of building materials and components). Due to the use of non-combustible materials in accordance with DIN 4102, fire class A1, the risk of fire in container systems from Stumpf Metall must be excluded. ProSlide system© As the first manufacturer of these systems, Stumpf Metall has metal containers equipped with devices to accommodate refuse bags with telescopic rails. These enable the device to be pulled out in front of the containers, whereby the refuse bags can be replaced in a quick, easy, convenient and above all ergonomically correct manner. This logo indicates that the waste bins marked with this are certified as self-extinguishing. Patented procedures according to the German federal utility model (Deutsches Bundesgebrauchsmuster, DBGM) are used that automatically seal off the oxygen supply in case of fire. This self-extinguishing property is checked and certified by independent institutions (TÜV Nord). Galvanised quality sheet steel All sorting system container product lines are made of galvanised quality steel and are additionally furnished with a comprehensive surface protection in the form of a highly resistant texture achieved by powder coating. The combination of galvanised sheet steel and the special coating is unique in the market and one of the reasons why the Stumpf Metall container systems are justifiably the preferred choice.
