Our goal is not short-term profit maximisation, but long-term growth based on sustainable corporate management that takes ecological, economic and social aspects into account. In addition to the applicable laws and standards, our core values and our internal compliance guidelines are basis for our actions. In all our operational sustainability measures, we are guided by the 2030 agenda defined by the UN with its 17 international goals for sustainable development. We assume corporate responsibility towards our employees and customers as well as society and the environment to make the world a little better. The health and safety of our employees and customers are always our top priority. It is our goal to reduce risks in the working environment of our employees and to promote their health, safety and job satisfaction through health promotion and preventive measures. With permanent training and development opportunities for all employees and a high rate of trainees being taken on, we combine an attractive training offer with securing long-term corporate success. Our products are manufactured in a way that conserves resources. ECONOMIC Our quality standards go beyond the usual norms and regulations. For our customers, we want to continue setting standards for the safety of tomorrow. This long-term success can only be secured with a sustainable business strategy by creating solutions that create improvements. As a contribution to environmental protection for a clean future, we measure our CO2 emissions and, as part of the transformation concept, pursue the development of a climate strategy based on the CO2 balance with a sound target: the reduction of at least 40 % of the identified climate gas emissions within 10 years. With the resulting energy-saving measures as well as the promotion of mobile work and the reduction of business trips, we are making a measurable contribution to CO2 reduction, as we are with the use of renewable energies for electricity generation and the continuous expansion of e-mobility within our company vehicle fleet. In crisis and disaster areas, we proactively provide rapid assistance to rescue and security forces as a sign of our social responsibility. We also support the Karin Rinklake Foundation which was founded by our CEO Dr. Kai Rinklake and bears his mother‘s name - in promoting non-profit and charitable causes in the areas of education, sports and culture, youth welfare, science and research, and environmental protection.
