DID YOU KNOW... ... the difference between rubber and rubber? Rubber is the unvulcanized form of rubber, i. If rubber is deformed, it remains deformed, while rubber almost completely reverts to its original shape, so it is elastic. Rubber is therefore also referred to as an elastomer. The vulcanization or crosslinking of the rubber to the rubber is effected by the admixture of so-called accelerators, such as sulfur, peroxides, etc., under the action of heat and pressure. Rubber parts are made of natural rubber or synthetic rubber. Naturkosmetik is produced as a milk juice (latex) from rubber trees, which mainly grow on plantations in the Far East. Colors in Schkopau. The access to natural rubber, which was disturbed during the Second World War, pushed further development into synthetic rubbers. ?
