The unique design of the pressure discs enables safe and accurate centring and alignment when changing a wheel bearing. It ensures that when removing and mounting the wheel bearing, the pressing force will be applied on the outer bearing race only, and that when mounting the wheel hub, the pressing force will be applied only on the inner bearing race. This prevents damage to the new wheel bearing. The combination of centring rings and pressure rings creates pressure pieces which can be accurately adjusted to the respective bearing Ø. Alternatively, a hydraulic 17t drive (accessory) can be used if wheel bearings are heavily corroded or seized in place. Thanks to the possibility to easily upgrade the tool set with other parts of the KL-0039-.. Series such as centring and pressure rings or pressure/support sleeves, this wheel bearing tool set is virtually universally applicable. It can, for example, also be used to change suspension ball joints and silentblocs. 3 Note: The wheel bearing tool set KL-0039-0110 K can also be operated hydraulically. For this, the set has to be used in conjunction with the hydraulic drive KL-0039-802, hydraulic cylinder KL-0040-2500 and a hydraulic pump such as the KL-0215-35 M25.
