Drawing dangerous static electricity away from the operator starts at the cu昀 to tool connection. This conductive cu昀 o昀ering is designed with a carbon component to help guide this static away from the operator. From the cu昀 this static build up will work its way through the conductive vacuum hose and back to the grounded vacuum canister which will have a connection to the facilities earth ground established from the power cord (Electric vacuums) or grounded airline (Pneumatic Vacuums).
