Abhängig von der Anwendung des Kunden ist eine bestimmte Luftreinheit erforderlich. Diese Reinheitsanforderungen wurden in Luftreinheitsklassen eingeordnet. Die Reinheitsklassen sind in der Norm ISO 8573-1, Ausgabe 2010, definiert. Diese Tabelle definiert sieben Luftreinheitsklassen von 0 bis 6 gemäß folgender Regel: je niedriger die Klasse, desto höher die Luftqualität. Die Gehäuse und Elemente werden mit hochwertigen Komponenten hergestellt gemäß ISO 12500-1.
