But please always observe the safety instructions of your machine manufacturer. ! Color guidance system The color indicates the particular application area of the tool. concrete, general building materials, for the universal operation abrasive materials hard and very hard, non-abrasive materials tiles, glazed tiles Please also note our detailed application tables diamond cutting discs and saw blades page 8 diamond drill bits page 24 Safety and operation instructions for diamond tools • Check the diamond tool before every use for damage. • Never use diamond tools that are deformed, damaged or cracked, that show abnormalities or that might be damaged by any act of violence. • Do not use diamond tools that are unbalanced (strong machine vibrations). • The rpm of the machine must not exceed the maximum permitted rpm of the diamond saw blade. • Bore hole and diameter of the diamond saw blades and grinding tools must fit the machine. • Always wear your personal safety equipment while working with diamond tools. • Observe the machine manufacturer‘s safety instructions. • Do not bend diamond saw blades and never cut curves. • Diamond saw blades are not suitable for lateral grinding. • In case of disregarding these instructions the user or other surrounding persons are likely to be seriously injured. • Mount the diamond saw blades in the correct rotational direction indicated by the directional arrow. • Never drop diamond tools hard on to the ground. • Only guide the machine, do not push it into the material. The machine‘s weight is sufficient. • Larger cutting depths should be cut in multiple passes. • Diamond tools are self-sharpening. If they have become blunt due to unfavourable working conditions make some cuts in abrasive materials (e.g. lime sand-stone). This procedure is not valid for electroplated tools. 6
