KWS Handrails Technical note There are three basic types of handrail brackets: 1. for screw-on handrails KWS Handrails 2. for handrails with built-in screw fixing 3. for balustrade handrails The most common cases are the screw-on type or handrails with built-in screw fixing in corridors and staircases. Things to be taken into account when mounting KWS handrail brackets Depending on the wall condition and load a distance spacing of 800 to 1200 mm between two brackets must not be exceeded. If not provided by us, sturdy fixing material should be used that takes into account the conditions on-site.
