The lowered drop arm prevents the closing of the door by the closing device. Release is effected by simply raising the drop arm which is then held by a flat spring. KWS Door Holders aluminium Mounting The fixing of the door holder is effected by two screws at the greatest possible distance from the door hinge on the door side facing the closing direction. The distance between floor and the centre of the bottom screw hole has to be 80 mm. A regular light greasing of the flat spring prevents abrasion on the drop arm.
