The enclosed drill is used for drilling out corroded and thus stiff sensors. When faults ABS sensors are replaced, residue from broken-off sensors often remains in the hole and is difficult to remove. For the new sensors to be fitted correctly, the sensor seats in the wheel bearing housing must be cleaned using the respective reamers.
