Abrasive mop discs SMT 975 – the durable one SMT 976 – the cool one A flap disc that impresses with several properties: The innovative ceramic abrasive grain and CEVOLUTION technology as well as the trimmable backing plate ensure unprecedented durability. Thanks to CEVOLUTION, the SMT 975 offers a long service life and extreme aggressiveness. The plastic disc can be easily trimmed so that the unused abrasive can be used in the inner area of the disc. This ensures additional service life compared to a conventional flap disc. The integrated M14 thread enables efficient tool changing without the use of a clamping key. This flap disc has been optimised by Klingspor engineers for use on stainless steel. Thanks to the multibond coating and the selfsharpening effect, the SMT 976 convinces with aggressive grinding and longer service life than the predecessor type SMT 996 when machining tough materials. The multibond coating helps to reduce the grinding temperature in the grinding zone. This makes the SMT 976 ideal for stainless steel. In addition, the multibond delays premature clogging when used on non-ferrous metals and aluminium. SMT 974 – the solid one SMT 674 – the efficient one The SMT 974 will also offer a performance increase with the new, self-sharpening CEVOLUTION ceramic abrasive grain. In combination with a cotton compound backing, this SMT becomes a reliable metal removal tool. The extra-thick coating of abrasive ensures a particularly long service life. Optimised for use on steel, the new SMT 974 creates particularly high stock removal. Price-performance has a new name: SMT 674! With this model, Klingspor presents ceramic abrasive grit in the SUPRA line for the first time. Products in this line stand for reliable and highperformance products that impress above all with their excellent price-performance ratio.
