Universally applicable for cleaning, derusting, smoothing, cleaning weld seams, light deburring and removing corrosion and paint. Steel wire is the most common trim material. Brushes with steel wire trim material are particularly suitable for surface treatment and deburring. PFERD special wire has a high tensile and bending fatigue strength. This ensures optimum wear of the wire and a long service life, even with extreme brushing applications. Steel wire can withstand temperatures of up to 300 °C.

- For best performance, use a tool drive with at least 300 watts.
