Description du produit

These special flexible shafts do not have a handpiece for holding the tools and are particularly flexible in the front area. The POLISTAR-TUBE grinding tools are attached directly to the core of the flexible shaft with screws (INOX version). POLINOX grinding stars PNST are screwed on with adapter AD M4 or adapter AD M5 (accessory). This combination is ideal for step-by-step fine grinding and cleaning of the inner surfaces of pipes and pipe bends. Both pipe bend ends can be deburred from the inlet side. The PST-T flexible shaft is suitable for grinding the inside of pipes. The flexible shaft can be used with POLISTAR-TUBE PST diameters of 50, 60, 70 and 80 mm.
  • Flexible shaft motors with continuously variable speed control are recommended as drives.
  • Before POLISTAR-TUBE is inserted into the pipe with the shaft, the tool should be pre-formed and adjusted to the pipe diameter.
  • When inserting, it is recommended to reduce the respective operating speed of the POLISTAR-TUBE.
  • Grinding of pipes with more than three pipe bends should be carried out from both pipe ends if possible.
  • When the tool blades emerge at the end of the pipe, they can be retracted in rotation. The end of the pipe is deburred with the back of the POLISTAR-TUBE and at the same time the inside of the pipe is also ground in the backwards movement.
  • All flexible shaft drives with a speed range of 7,650–1,500 RPM and a flexible shaft connection DIN 10 can be used.
  • For the maintenance of the flexible shaft, PFERD recommends the P?SET BW 4/6 care set.
