For extremely aggressive grinding with ultimate removal performance on steel materials, hard and poorly heat-conducting materials and at the same time extremely long service life. Ultimate, constant top performance thanks to the VICTOGRAIN abrasive grain. Grinding-active additives in the coating achieve a significantly higher removal performance, prevent clogging and result in cooler grinding. Short belts are tailored to the belt grinding machines commonly available on the market. They are listed in ISO 2976 under the name ”abrasive belts”. VICTOGRAIN products are among the most effective grinding tools in the world. The triangular, precision-shaped abrasive grain from PFERD achieves a uniquely high grinding performance. The abrasive grain edges of the triangles of the same shape and size of the VICTOGRAIN abrasive grain hit the workpiece at an optimal angle. This means that the individual abrasive grain requires only a small amount of energy to penetrate the workpiece. In this way, the user benefits from an efficient machining process with rapid work progress, long tool life, less heat introduced into the workpiece and a lower power requirement of the tool drive. The VICTOGRAIN abrasive grains are fixed to the carrier with one side of the triangle. This means they are particularly firmly embedded and, in conjunction with the slim shape, offer an extremely large chip space, making the machining process even more efficient. The structural design of the VICTOGRAIN triangles is also specially adapted. The very small crystals within the triangle offer optimal wear behavior: very sharp cutting edges are always available, but only a necessary minimum of the abrasive grain/triangle breaks away. The combination of these properties offers the user ultimate, constant top performance with cool grinding and an extremely long tool life with uniform surface roughness of the workpiece.
