Description du produit

In fan grinders, the flaps made of abrasive material on a base are arranged in a fan shape radially around the axis of the tool. Their flexibility means they adapt perfectly to the contours of the workpiece. The abrasive grain is embedded in a synthetic resin bond on the tensile, flexible fabric carrier. In ISO 3919, fan grinders are listed under the name flap grinding points. For universal use from coarse to fine grinding.
  • Reducing the contact pressure and peripheral speed and adding grinding oil reduce tool wear and the temperature load on the workpiece.
  • An increase in the removal rate should be achieved by using a coarser grain and not by increasing the contact pressure in order to prevent unnecessary tool wear and temperature load on the workpiece.
  • Increasing the cutting speed results in a slightly finer surface. Increasing the contact pressure makes the surface slightly coarser. The softer the material to be machined, the coarser the surface (when using the same grain size).
  • For best performance, use a recommended cutting speed of 15-20 m/s. This achieves an ideal compromise between removal rate, surface quality, temperature load on the workpiece and tool wear.
  • Use grinding oil suitable for the material to significantly increase the service life and grinding performance of the tools.
