Description du produit

Electroplated diamond and CBN grinding points are used in both wet and dry grinding. Diamond grinding points with grain size D 852 are ideal for machining grey and spheroidal cast iron (GG and GGG or GJL and GJS). N = non-stepped shaft
  • It can be used for both dry and wet grinding. If possible, wet grinding is preferable to reduce tool wear and the risk of thermal damage.
  • In general: for optimum efficiency, choose the grain size to be as coarse as possible and as fine as necessary. Influencing factors include the hardness of the material and the required surface quality.
  • Clogged tools can be cleaned with ultrasound. If the coating is heavily soiled, please use the sharpening rod DSB 2005025 (EAN 4007220168332) to clean.
  • Choose the tool diameter as large as possible, as this increases the number of grains that are brought into contact. When grinding internally, the tool diameter may be a maximum of 3/4 of the diameter to be ground.
  • The longitudinal feed during internal grinding may be a maximum of 2/3 of the tool width per workpiece revolution. The feed depends on the material to be machined, the cutting speed, the stability of the tool, its holder and the tool drive.
  • Due to the single-layer coating, the work spindle and tool holder must have a high degree of concentricity. The finer the grain size used, the more accurate the concentricity must be.
  • The tool drive must have sufficient drive power of the grinding spindle to ensure the required speed even under load.
  • Dry grinding: 30–50 m/s
