TECHNICAL BASICS EN All systems and PPE’s to safeguard against falling from a height need to be connected to secure anchor points. The choice of the type of anchor and its positioning is one of the most difficult aspects of working at height and the operator’s safety depends on it. Anchors are generally divided into two types: • mobile: There are removable anchors positioned by the operator (webbings, struts, tripods, anchor weights etc.). These anchors must comply with standard EN 795 and, as a consequence, must be able to withstand 12 kN • structural: Permanent anchors positioned by a competent installer (expansion bolts, glue-in bolts, etc.) or made using parts of the building or structure where the work is taking place (wooden beams, beams, pillars) 7. TYPES OF ANCHOR POINTS DE Alle Systeme und persönlichen Schutzausrüstungen gegen Absturz müssen an sicheren Anschlagpunkten festgemacht werden. Die Wahl der Anschlageinrichtung und der Positionierung gehört zu den schwierigsten Teilen der Höhenarbeit, von dieser Wahl hängt nämlich die Sicherheit des Arbeiters ab. Üblicherweise spricht man von zwei Anschlags-Kategorien. • mobile Anschlagpunkte: Diese werden vom Arbeiter auf wiederentfernbare Weise angebracht (Schlingen, Verstrebungen, Dreifüße, Ankergewichte, usw.).
