Die von uns ausgetüftelte Geometrie eignet sich speziell mit den modernen, dünnen Seilen ausgezeichnet zur Halbmastwurfsicherung. Jetzt schon ein Renner ist der PICO als Sicherungs-, Standplatz- und Zentralkarabiner beim Alpinen Bergsteigen und Sportklettern, wo jedes Gramm zählt. Wie von STUBAI gewohnt, setzen wir bei der Schraube auf hochwertiges Messing. Damit läuft diese auch nach zigmaliger Verwendung noch wie frisch aus dem Laden, wenn das Teil sauber bleibt und ab und an einen Tropfen Öl spendiert bekommt. Beim STUBAI PICO (= Lat. „klein“, Portugiesisch „(Berg-)Gipfel“) ist der Name Programm! The STUBAI HMS PICO is a full-blooded HMS karabiner which belies its size.
