Short tapes A short tape with many strengths. Short tapes have to withstand a lot. Lower-quality tapes show wear and tear, and sometimes even snap. SOLA does things differently: Our high-quality steel tapes have a high carbon content, which ensures extra stiffness and durability. All SOLA tape measures have a high level of rust protection and are matte-coated, meaning they do not shine or reflect light and are easy to read. And because measuring is all about precision, every SOLA short tape measure corresponds to Accuracy Class I or II as defined by EU Directive 2014/32/EU.
