THE VISION. As end users demand more and more of their power tools, the market is becoming increasingly more specialised and more segmented. This is why we take the view of not just one market but many attractive sub-markets. Within the overall power tools market, our vision for the FEIN brand is to become an international leader in metalworking in the industry sectors of steel, metal and container construction, special vehicle and machine construction as well as the construction of infrastructure in selected areas, such as pipework and rail construction. Through the FEIN brand, we hope to demonstrate in the long term that we can successfully achieve return on sales (ROS) far above average in order to retain our independence as a familyowned business. And we aim to do this in the highly competitive power tool market on the basis of a defined system of values and a product/market strategy derived from this. We are concentrating on being the specialist power tool supplier to end users in these sectors – not just in terms of the tools themselves, but also consumables and accessories. We also see further potential in oscillating power tool technology. Recognising cause and effect relationships, we are fully committed to the idea of “Total Quality Management”. To this end, we entrust our employees and managers with a very high level of responsibility and decision-making authority once their personal traits and own results have demonstrated that we can trust them with such powers. Every action the company takes is a step towards turning this vision into reality.
