Thermal treatment leads to a reduction in strength and elasticity, causing the surface to become brittle. Contrast-rich texture. Application: Deck construction, sometimes as a substitute for tropical timber, not to be used for structural applications. Application: Deck construction, window frames, playground construction, fencing, excellent structural timber for outdoor use, sometimes used as a substitute for tropical timber.
