In their production, however, contaminated condensate is created. It contains, for example, hydrocarbons, dust and particles of dirt from the intake air, coolant and lubricant from the compressor and oil residues, rust, abrasion or sealant residues.|Under the German Water Act, condensate must not be discharged into the sewage system as oily. This means that the condensate must either be disposed of professionally or processed on site. Disposal via external service providers is an expensive process. In addition to the disposal costs, internal investments such as approved collection tanks and monitoring equipment are required.|Condensate treated with ÖWAMAT can be discharged as purified water directly into the sewage system. The devices have building control approval and do not require a water permit.
During treatment, the oil-containing condensate first enters the pressure load chamber (1) under pressure. There the pressure is reduced without causing turbulence in the subsequent separation tank for free oil separation (2). Coarse dirt particles that are carried along are caught in a removable trap (2). In the separation tank, the oil settles on the surface through shear force separation and is led into the oil collection container (4) which is protected against overflow.|the pre-cleaned condensate flows through the oleophilic prefilter (5), which has a large active filter area. Flowing through from the inside to outside, it binds the remaining oil droplets and also absorbs residual, floating oil in the filter chamber.
At its heart is the OEKOSORB main filter with cartridge technology (6): the last oil particles are removed reliably here. All that remains is water, which may be discharged directly into the sewage system.

- TB 125 Vario - klein ganz groß, Von der Prozessanlagenregelung bis hin zu pneumatischen Prüf- und Kontrollverfahren - Druckluft ist in weiten Teilen der Produktion nicht mehr wegzudenken. Bei ihrer Herstellung entsteht jedoch verunreinigtes Kondensat. Es enthält beispielsweise Kohlenwasserstoffe, Staub- und Schmtzpartikel aus der Ansaugluft, Kühl- und Schmiermittel aus dem Kompressor sowie Ölrückstände, Rost, Abrieb oder Dichtungsmittelreste.
- Kondensat darf als ölhaltiges Abwasser gemäß dem Wasserhaushaltsgesetz nicht in die Kanalisation eingeleitet werden. Das heißt, das Kondensat muss entweder fachgerecht entsorgt oder vor Ort aufbereitet werden. Die Entsorgung über externe Dienstleister ist ein teurer Vorgang. Zusätzlich zu den Entsorgungskosten fallen betriebsinterne INvestitionen wie zugelassene Sammeltanks und Überwachungsgeräte an.
- Mit ÖWAMAT aufbereitetes Kondensat kann als gereinigtes Wasser direkt in die Kanalisation eingeleitet werden. Die Geräte verfügen über eine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung und benötigen keine wasserrechtliche Genehmigung.
Für die Aufbereitung gelangt das ölhaltige Kondensat zunächst unter Druck in die Druckenlastungskammer (1). Dort wird der Überdruck abgebaut, ohne dass es zu Verwirbelungen im nachfolgenden Trennbehälter zur Freiölabscheidung (2) kommt. Mitgeführt grobe Schmutzpartikel werden in einem herausnehmbaren Auffang (2) zurückgeahlten. Im Trennbehälter setzt sich das Öl durch Scherkrafttrennung an der Oberfläche ab und wird in den überlaufsicheren Ölauffangbehälter (4) geleitet. - Das so vorgereinigte Kondensat strömt nun durch den oleophilen Vorfilter (5), der eine große aktive Filterfläche aufweist. Von innen nach außen durchströmt, bindet er die verbleibenden Öltröpfchen und nimmt zudem in der Filterkammer restliches, aufschwimmendes Öl auf.
Herzstück ist der OEKOSORB-Hauptfilter mit Kartuschentechnik (6): Dort werden letzte Ölanteile zuverlässig zurückgehalten. Übrig bleibt Wasser, das direkt in die Kanalisation eingeleitet werden darf.
