WIROX A9J Zinc 10 μm Class 2 THE BENEFITS AT A GLANCE: STANDARD EN 14592 SPAX with optimised WIROX surface fully satisfy the requirements for Class T2/C2nw of the future standard EN 14592 for dowel-type fasteners in timber structures. We are thus already fit to meet future European requirements. The label bears this abbreviation, as demanded by the standard. HIGH CORROSION PROTECTION Compared with conventional zinc plated screws, SPAX with optimised WIROX surface offer significantly higher corrosion protection. HIGH ZINC COATING THICKNESS The zinc coating thickness has been increased by 25% and is now 10 µm – so that the screws now satisfy the requirements for Class T2/C2nw to EN 14592. EUROCODE 5 With a zinc coating thickness of 10 μm, the screw meets service class 2 requirements for use in roofed outdoor areas.
