Das Werkstoffgefüge wird bei dem Schleifvorgang glatt durchtrennt und ergibt somit maßhaltigere und schärfere Schneiden. Die einzelnen Stufen werden axial CBNhinterschliffen, dadurch ist die Schneide der höchste Punkt auf der axialen Schneidebene. Die Schneiden an jeder Stufe erhalten einen Freiwinkel, damit auch die Schneide in der Vorschubrichtung der höchste Punkt ist. Die Bohrspitze ermöglicht das Zentrieren unbd Anbohren von dünnwändigen Materialien. With FISCH® conical step drill bits, chip flutes are ground into the fully hardened material through the use of creep feed grinding methods. In the grinding process, the material structure is completely severed which results in dimensionally more accurate and sharp blades. The individual steps are axially CBN relief-ground which causes the blade to be the topmost point of the axial cutting plane. The blades in every step are provided with a relief angle so that the blade is the topmost point in feed direction, too. The drill bit allows centering and spot drilling of thin-walled materials.
