Manual use Fine machining. Very fine cleaning work. Corrections in tool and mold making. Sharpening of cutting tools. Recommended use: Machine use. The milling cutter diameter should be 75 to 80% of the bore diameter. Material hardnesses up to max. 50 HRC can normally be machined without any problems. For higher material hardnesses, appropriate tests are recommended beforehand. Economical bore range up to max. 12 mm diameter. Only use impact-free spindles. Ensure that the clamping is rigid and runs precisely. Stationary use Feed rate: for soft material 100 - 200 mm/min, for hard material 50 - 100 mm/min. Depth of cut: for soft material 0.08 to 0.13 mm, for hard material 0.008 to 0.013 mm. Machining is usually carried out in the opposite direction. Cylindrical milling cutters similar to DIN 8032 (FormZYA) with special teeth.
