Product description

These special flexible shafts do not have a handpiece for holding tools and are particularly flexible in the front area. The POLISTAR-TUBE grinding tools are attached directly to the core of the flexible shaft with screws (INOX version). POLINOX grinding stars PNST are screwed on with adapter AD M4 or adapter AD M5 (accessory). This combination is ideal for step-by-step fine grinding and cleaning of the inner surfaces of pipes and pipe bends. Both pipe bend ends can be deburred from the inlet side. The PST-T flexible shaft is suitable for grinding the inside of pipes. Ready-to-install replacement core for BW 4 PST-T DIN 10/M4 1.5 m.
  • Flexible shaft motors with stepless speed control are recommended as drives.
  • Before POLISTAR-TUBE is inserted into the pipe with the shaft, the tool should be pre-formed and adjusted to the pipe diameter.
  • When inserting, it is recommended to reduce the respective operating speed of the POLISTAR-TUBE.
  • Grinding pipes with more than three pipe bends should be carried out from both pipe ends if possible.
