Our compact insulation tester is perfect for measuring the insulation resistance of electrical devices and household appliances. With its ability to measure insulation resistance, AC voltage, low resistance, PI (polarisation index) and DAR (dielectric absorption), it is a versatile and reliable tool for many application scenarios. With test voltages of 100 V, 250 V, 500 V and 1000 V, insulation resistances of up to 5.5 GΩ can be measured, enabling accurate analysis and evaluation of insulation quality. The insulation tester not only offers the possibility to measure direct current (DC) in the measuring range from 30 V to 600 V and alternating current (AC), but also measures the resistance in the range from 0 Ω to 999 Ω with high accuracy to ensure a good diagnosis of electrical systems.

The automatic AC and DC detection as well as the automatic discharge guarantee user-friendly operation and maximum safety during the measurement process. In addition, the insulation tester has a high-voltage alarm and an over-limit alarm to inform the operator of possible risks. The insulation tester is powered by 6 x AA batteries and also has the option of an external power supply of 9V DC.

The device complies with the standards: CAT III 600 V, CAT I 2500 V and IEC 6010-1, and is supplied with approx. 80 cm long test leads in an equipment bag.
