PCE Moisture analyser balance PCE-MA 200TS

The moisture analyser scale has a measuring range of 0 ... 100 % absolute humidity. The moisture analyser is operated via the 5’ touchscreen. To measure the moisture content with the moisture analyser scale, a sample is evenly distributed on the sample pan. The sample pan is then placed in the moisture analyser balance and sealed. Once all the parameters have been set, the moisture analyser balance begins the measurement.

The moisture content is determined by the moisture analyser balance using the measured weight difference, based on the weight before and after drying the sample. The adjustable temperature range of the moisture analyser scale is between 40 ... 165 °C. A specific drying temperature for the sample can therefore be selected for the moisture analyser. The drying temperature generated is produced by means of a built-in halogen lamp with a diameter of 90 mm.

The moisture analyser balance can be used in many different areas due to the sample drying process. The moisture analyser scale is therefore used, for example, in laboratories to measure the moisture of different powders, in final quality control to determine the moisture of granulates, or on farms to determine the moisture content of oats, grain or wheat.

A major advantage over devices with capacitive measuring methods is that moisture analyzer scales work independently of characteristic curves and deliver more accurate results.

The measured values can be transferred to a PC and analysed via the serial RS232 interface of the moisture analyzer scale. Suitable software is optionally available for the moisture analyser balance for this purpose. If required, the moisture analyser can be supplied with an ISO calibration certificate.
