With this digital Abbe refractometer, the refraction index and the Brix value can be precisely determined. The measuring device is suitable for testing liquid, viscous and solid samples. It is independent of the turbidity, viscosity, transparency or absorption of the sample. The refractometer shows you the refraction index between 1.3000 and 1.7000 nD and the Brix value between 0 and 100%. In addition to the measuring parameters, the DRB 10 has high reading and measuring accuracy. The Abbe refractometer can be tailored to different needs and requirements using the various settings. All settings can be made via the clear and concise LED touchscreen. A calibration is also carried out every time the Abbe refractometer is started. This calibration serves to ensure error-free measurements and is carried out completely independently by the measuring device. Calibration can also be carried out during use. The measurement data recorded by the refractometer can be saved directly on the device. For later analysis, this measurement data will be read in the system by retrieving it by user ID, sample ID or date. Since the refractive index changes with increasing temperature and this must be constantly taken into account when measuring, a thermostat can be connected to the Abbe refractometer, which ensures constant temperatures. The refraction of light depends heavily on the wavelength and, depending on the liquid, on the temperature. As a rule, measurements should be carried out with the Abbe refractometer at +20°C. If, for example, you want to carry out measurements at the boiling temperature of the substance to be examined, the control temperature is of course no longer necessary. Chemical-resistant materials were used in the production of the Abbe refractometer, which significantly increases the range of use and guarantees a long service life of the measuring device.
