The automatic adhesion meter is a portable, hand-operated device that measures the force required to peel a specified test diameter of coating from the substrate using hydraulic pressure. The measured pressure is displayed on the 5 inch touch screen and represents the adhesion strength of the coating to the substrate. This device evaluates the adhesion (peel strength) of a coating by determining the maximum tensile force it can withstand before it peels off. The automatic adhesion meter reveals fractures caused by cracks along the weakest layer in the system of carrier, adhesive, coating layers and substrate.

Equipped with an electronically controlled hydraulic pump, our automatic adhesion meter enables precise and repeatable application of the required tensile force. Thanks to the choice of different dolly sizes, the device can be flexibly adapted to different test requirements, making it particularly versatile. The pulling speed, load limit and holding time can be customised to meet specific requirements for different materials and applications.

In addition, the automatic adhesion tester offers a USB interface for easy transfer of measurement data to external devices. The data can be saved in the practical CSV format, which enables easy further processing and analysis.
