Cork pad is a sustainable, ecological natural product!
Our cork pad spacer is used for structural wood protection by ensuring a gap between the substructure and the foundation/subfloor. Our cork pads are available in three different sizes. The available material thicknesses are 3 mm, 6 mm and 10 mm.
Our cork pad distributes the loads of the substructure evenly. Another advantage is that the substructure can be levelled.
Properties and benefits
- Water-repellent (hydrophobic), moisture-resistant
- Contains no PAHs (toxic, carcinogenic plasticisers in rubber)
- Resistant to most acids and alkalis and does not rot
- Isolates heat, noise and vibrations, absorbs impact sound and is non-slip
- Resistant to rot, bacteria and germs
- High load-bearing capacity, pressure resistance and does not expand
- Flame retardant (fire class B2)
