Safety guards PTO PTO 03 - Safety guard for lathe chuck The shield shape makes it ideally suited to be positioned near the machine head. It is equipped with an “opaque” monolithic shield in composite material and available in different dimensions. It is protecting the operator against direct contact with the chuck of the lathe and against splashes of lubricants and coolants and can be attached at the front side of the machine base or laterally. VAT PTO 04 - Safety guard for big lathe chuck Exceptionally rugged design for chuck lathes up to Ø 1000 mm. It is equipped with a shield, which can be opened completely or partially. It is available in different dimensions and preventing the operator against direct contact with the chuck of the lathe and against splashes of lubricants and coolants, as well as against contact with swarfs. The strong supporting structure (1), which is fully adjustable in the x- and the y-axis, allows easy installation on the rear side of the machine and, if necessary, at the front side. It comes with a semicircular shield, which is divided into two sections to allow opening of only the front side (6) or total opening by completely overturning it to the back.
