Engine Glow Plugs / Spark Plugs KL-0132-56 KA Glow Plug Tool Set (Universal) KL-0132-56 KA Universally applicable to Diesel engines having either an M8x1 or M10x1 glow plug retaining thread. The ideal tool set for Mercedes (OM639, OM640, OM642, OM651) // Fiat, Citroën, Peugeot, IVECO 2.3 JTD/HDI, 3.0 JTD/HDI, as well as Fiat, Alfa, Lancia 1.3 JTD Common Rail Diesel engines. (F1A, F1C, F30 DT, 169A1.000, 169A5.000, 188A8.000, 188A9.000, 199A2.000, 199A3.000, 199A9.000, 199B1.000, 199B2.000, 199B4.000, 223A9.000, 263A2.000) and VW-Audi 2.5, 2.7, 3.0 V6 TDI engines. The universal KL-0132-56 KA glow plug tool set enables the accurate removal, respectively drilling out, of damaged glow plugs and re-tapping the original M8x1 and M10x1 thread. It also allows the user to repair a damaged glow plug retaining thread by drilling it up to M10x1 or M12x1 respectively. Then, the new glow plug along with a threaded sleeve can be screwed into the cylinder head. With the aid of the compressed air adaptor included in the set, air can be injected into the combustion chamber so as to prevent dirt and swarf from entering the latter. Glow plugs or glow tubes/elements seized in the glow plug channel can be extracted quickly and easily with the aid of the puller that comes with the tool set.
