We recommend hard grinding discs for edge grinding. Soft grinding discs can be used for surface grinding. s Levelling of welding seams RHODIUS grinding discs are made in a thickness of 7 mm and with a special top layer. Grinding discs, unlike flap discs, are characterised by their high stock removal and cutting efficiency as well as lifetime. Pipeline discs are produced without a top layer, so as to ensure optimum performance on root seams even in circumferential grinding.
