WEICON Colombia S.A.S, as the new branch is called, is located in Medellín in the north-west of the country. The branch is managed by local managing director Daniel Mesa Saldarriaga. “We have been working successfully with Daniel for years, as he worked for a technical dealer in Colombia who sells our products. By founding our new branch, we will consolidate and expand our market position. We are looking forward to a very promising future in Colombia,” says Ralph Weidling. “Colombia is a very interesting market for us, and its economy is growing. Our products can be used in important economic sectors in Colombia, such as mining, the maritime industry and metal construction. The country therefore offers a strong sales market for our products,” explains Ann-Katrin Weidling.
