Special models based on the PEW 12 hand crimping tool · The industry-standard PEW 12 hand crimping tool has been redesigned for special applications. · By changing the system size and designing a wide range of sockets, this has resulted in the development of special tools for a large number of applications, for instance: - For the processing of shielded modular connectors from leading manufacturers such as AMP, Hirose, Telegärtner, Yamaichi, Drahtex, Molex, etc. The crimp dies are adjusted to match the corresponding connectors. In terms of design, the tool is designed so that the insulation crimp, shielding crimp, strain relief crimp and contact crimp is performed in one tool, shipped in a compact plastic case. - For processing large wire-end ferrules - For processing reel-packaged contacts up to a sheet thickness of 0.7 mm.
