ISO 26623 Sandvik Coromant präsentierte 1990 (Patentanmeldung 1988) unter dem Markennamen Coromant Capto® einen Polygonalen Hohlschaftkegel mit Plananlage, entwickelt für alle Anwendungsarten - Drehen, Fräsen und Bohren. 2008 dann als ISO/DIS 26623-Standard für „Polygonale Kegelschnittstellen mit Flasch-Kontaktfläche“ normiert [ISO 266231:2008]. Der Standard deckte bislang die Flanschgrößen 32 bis 80 (C3 bis C8) ab und wurde im Juli 2013 um die Polygonschaftgröße 100 (C10) erweitert [ISO 26623-1:2014]. In der ISO 26623-1:2020-11 wurden u.a. Fluid-Transfereinheiten für Werkzeugschnittstellen nach ISO 22402-2:2022-02 hinzugefügt. Das konische Polygon bildet in Verbindung mit den engen Fertigungstoleranzen eine spielfreie Zentrierung und fungiert gleichzeitig als Mitnahme. Der PSC-Kegel hat eine sehr hohe Steifigkeit und Biegefestigkeit. Die Hauptvorteile dieser Schnittstelle liegen zum einen bei den übertragbaren Drehmomenten und der Stabilität gegenüber radial einwirkenden Kräften, zum anderen bei der exakten Spitzenhöhe. Dies bedeutet, es können große Materialquerschnitte zerspant bzw. hohe Vorschübe realisiert werden. Die PSC-Schnittstelle ist für alle Bearbeitungsaufgaben wie Bohren, Drehen und Fräsen bestens geeignet. The standard previously covered flange sizes 32 to 80 (C3 to C8) and was extended in July 2013 to include polygonal shank size 100 (C10) [ISO 26623-1:2014]. In ISO 26623-1:2020-11, fluid transfer units for tool interfaces according to ISO 22402-2:2022-02 were added. The tapered polygon in conjunction with the tight tolerance provides backlash-free centering also acts as pull back. The PSC cone has very high rigidity and bending strength. The main advantages of this interface are the transmittable torque stability, the resistance against radial forces acting on the tool and the exact center height. This means high feed rates can be achieved on large material cross sections. The PSC interface is ideally suited for all machining operations such as drilling, turning and milling. La norme couvrait jusqu‘à présent les tailles de brides 32 à 80 (C3 à C8) et a été étendue en juillet 2013 à la taille de tige polygonale 100 (C10) [ISO 26623-1:2014]. Dans la norme ISO 26623-1:2020-11, des unités de transfert de fluide ont notamment été ajoutées pour les interfaces d‘outils selon la norme ISO 22402-2:2022-02. Le polygone conique, grâce à des tolérances de fabrication très serrées, permet un centrage libre de jeu en assurant simultanément la fonction d‘entraînement. Cette interface procure une grande rigidité, une grande résistance à la flexion et aux efforts de coupe, en particulier radiaux. Elle garantit d‘autre part une grande exactitude de la hauteur de pointe. Cette interface est donc tout à fait appropriée pour les opérations d‘usinage réalisées avec de grandes avances ou des profondeurs de coupe importantes.
