DIAMOND WET DRILL BITS Clear colour coding for every drilling application The dry and wet drill bits by Tyrolit have been specially developed to meet the various requirements of drilling work. Dry drill bits are ideal for applications where a water cooling system is not possible or not required. These drill bits are now available in black, which allows them to be clearly distinguished from wet drill bits. This colour coding makes it easier for operators to select the right drill bit for their specific requirements. Wet drill bits, on the other hand, are designed for applications where a water cooling system is necessary to prevent overheating and extend the lifetime of the drill bit. These drill bits remain in the traditional blue colour, which distinguishes them from dry drill bits. The blue colour scheme indicates to operators that these drill bits are intended for wet applications. The clear colour distinction between black dry drill bits and blue wet drill bits considerably simplifies the selection and handling of the drill bits.
