Together with leading aerospace manufacturers we developed the »Tool Control System« (TCS), which received the prestigious Aerospace Industry Award. This was a key milestone in our efforts to improve safety. Together with repair shops specialising in airframe and engine repairs, we developed our High Performance Quality (HPQ®) tools which are capable of coping with the high breakaway torques encountered in turbines safely and economically. Since every minute an aeroplane is grounded costs money, we supply high-tech tool applications for MRO and intelligent tool organisation aids and transport systems for the specialist fields of mechanical repairs, engines and avionics. In this way, we create the infrastructure you require for efficient, fast, reliable maintenance and overhaul work – irrespective of whether the work takes place in the hangar or in an »aircraft on ground« (AOG) scenario anywhere in the world. To guarantee our acknowledged levels of quality, we have operated a quality assurance system to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1992. Our processes and product qualities are subject to continuous review with a view to guaranteeing the highest levels of accuracy and dependability in the development and production of our tools. One key contribution to this is our DAkkS calibration laboratory.
