Universally applicable to virtually all MacPherson suspension strut and shock absorber designs with coil springs, such as right-hand-coiled springs, left-handcoiled springs, eccentric springs/spring plates, conical springs, springs with a small number of windings, long-pitch springs or variable-pitch springs. Also suitable for use on shock absorber designs with rebound buffer springs, shock absorbers on which the hardness is electronically adjustable as well as magnetorheological shock absorbers.
