Mercedes (Code 3274209) KL-0356-142 Upgrade Kit, Rear Axle Carrier (W204) KL-0356-142 Applicable to the lower spring link silentblocs at the rear axle carrier as found in: Mercedes C-Class (W204, S204, C204, X204), E-Class (W212, S212) + (C207), CLS (W218), SL (R231). Alternative Tools: W 204 589 04 43 00, W 220 589 01 43 00 Used in conjunction with the KL-0326-1000 press frame and the necessary drive parts, the upgrade kit allows for the quick removal and installation of the lower spring link silentbloc from/to the rear axle carrier in situ on the vehicle. Thanks to this tool, the time-consuming dismantling of the rear axle carrier is not necessary. When dismantling the spring link, it occurs quite often that the fixing bolt breaks off inside the silentbloc. As a result, the removal by means of a pull spindle is no longer feasible. The use of our special KL-0326-1000 press frame in conjunction with the appropriate pressure spindle dispenses with the need for a pull spindle when removing the silentbloc. Alternative tools: W 001 589 49 21 00, VAS 6523 The friction gauge allows you to accurately determine the friction torque in the range of 0.3 - 6Nm on differentials, manual or automatic transmissions and steering gears. Required to check and adjust the bearing preload when removing/installing the propshaft flange, after changing the shaft seal or when performing transmission repairs. Input takes place via the13mm hexagon, output via the 1/2" square.
